About Us

KATHLEEN M. WEBER began practicing law in Washington state in 1979. She opened her own law office in 1980 in downtown Seattle and moved her law office to the Ballard area in 1985.

Ms. Weber represents clients on a wide variety of immigration issues, with an emphasis on assisting individuals in the processing of family visas both in the United States and abroad and obtaining employment authorization and U.S. citizenship for them. She has spoken numerous times at local and regional conferences on various aspects of immigration law. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and she has traveled to both Central America and South America. Ms. Weber is the proud mother of a son who was has recently graduated from the University of Washington.

TIRSO W. ARGUETA is a valued employee at the Law Office of Kathleen M. Weber. Mr. Argueta is fluent in both the English and Spanish languages. His bi-lingual abilities and familiarity with the cultural aspects of Central American life enhance his already considerable talents as a paralegal.

Mr. Argueta immigrated to this country at the age of 14, escaping the brutality of the Salvidoran civil war. Upon arrival, he settled in Los Angeles with his family and quickly learned the language and American culture, becoming a bridge for his family between the two communities. In 1993, he moved to Seattle and eventually became a paralegal in 1996. Since that time, Mr. Argueta has amassed an extensive knowledge of legal practice and procedure. Mr. Argueta is married and is the proud father of two adult children.
